Design Buddies is the internet’s friendliest design space—where 1:1 connections, learning events, and creative exploration come together. Whether you’re new to UX or just looking for a hype squad, this is where curiosity meets belonging.

UXGO: Career prep with strategy and soul.

UXGO is our paid, member-based, mentorship-driven accelerator that helps early-career designers land roles with confidence. Through real portfolio reviews, interview coaching, and offer transparency, we’ve helped 1,000+ designers break into their first jobs.

Cohort: Real teams, products, and growth.

Cohort is a 10-week creative residency that pairs designers with startup founders to build real 0→1 products. You’ll gain product thinking, teamwork experience, and a polished case study—plus mentorship every step of the way.

Visual Identity

Logomark

Our logo emulates the connection and partnerships formed under the supervision of CoCreate to help founders build, launch, and scale with world-class UX, branding, and product experiences. Thus, a merging of the letters “co” symbolizes this connection.

Other Variations

Horizontal Lockup is considered the default and primary choice for most use cases.

Combined logo usage with DB/UXGO

Core Palette

Typography

Playpen Sans should be only used as a heading/subheading font. Additionally, it should only be present for very specific uses such as The CoCreate Podcast.

Illustrations & Photography

Illustrations on images are dependent on the imagery/purpose. Additionally, the colors for the sketches should only be the brand’s color palette and align with the overall aesthetic.
Accent line art is to be used as a supporting design element, without distracting from core content. All accent line art drawn is used with the pencil tool and the specs are as follows:

Opacity: 100%

Likewise, photos should be edited by desaturating colors, and applying noise to achieve a vintage film filter. Subjects of interest can be selectively colorized, preserving their natural tones.

Every piece is a celebration of the designer’s story in motion—built to reflect both the journey and the craft. Thoughtfully designed in a warm beige and brown palette, our merch carries a unisex, timeless, and professional look that fits seamlessly into any creative’s day-to-day, from deep work sessions to community moments.
